Kanakan Stories Vol. 2 is Available!

I released a Suikoden fangame this weekend!

"What is it?"

Kanakan Stories Vol 2. It's a adventure game. Basically a visual novel, similar to a Suikogaiden.  The main difference is you can walk around the city freely similar to standard RPG town maps.

"What's it about?"

Two kids from Kanakan, an inventor and a bookworm, make a flying machine.

The idea behind the series is: what if you got to play the origin stories of a bunch of your Stars of Destiny? Except in this case, the origin story games come before the big game.

"How long is it?"

You can probably finish it in 30-45 minutes the first time through.

"I played your first game, it was janky."

You're not wrong. I'm using a much nicer asset pack in this one, and overall it's far more polished.

"I found a bug!"

If you encounter a bug, you can report it here or a comment on the game's main page on itch.  I'll do what I can to fix them, and since the game autosaves each time you enter a map, it should be easy to continue once the new version is out.
