Development Log: Evolution of a hilly scene

For Kanakan Stories Vol. 2, there will be some new technical things introduced. Several scenes take place on a hill outside of the city, and I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce some kind of vista to show different hills than the one you're on, along with the ocean in the background (after all, Kanakan is an island nation). Since the player will see this screen many times, more work making it look right should be worth it.

This video shows the evolution of the screen from very rough to less rough. There is of course, a lot to still do for this screen , but I'm much closer to the overall screen design now.
